The Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans (CAPA) was established to improve the conditions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in our communities by influencing public policy and electing officials responsive to the community's needs. CAPA also works to combat discrimination based on race, gender, national origin, accent and sexual orientation and supports the struggles of low-income citizens in this country to obtain basic human rights such as living wages, employment, education, decent housing, proper health care and environmental justice.
