The principal purpose of the Nippon Club is the promotion, establishment and maintenance of social and cultural relations, goodwill and understanding among its members and between the United States and Japan. It strives to do this by sponsoring various recreational, athletic and cultural activities, as well as by providing the facilities where these events can occur. B,D,V.

A Nikkei Family Legacy Project

REEL NIKKEI STORIES is a project of the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC) designed to teach young Nikkei about Japanese American history by empowering them with the confidence, the training and the tools to interview, permanently document and share the untold stories of their Nisei relatives. REEL NIKKEI STORIES offers training toolkits, workshops and a website to assist individuals interested in collecting their families’ oral histories.
