Address Robert Peckham Building, 280 South First Street, San Jose, CA, 95112 On March 5, 1994 a panoramic bronze memorial dedicated to Japanese Americans interned during World War II was unveiled by its sculptor, Ruth Asawa, in the West Plaza of the Robert Peckham Federal Building less than a block away from the original War Relocation Authority Building for Washington, California and Arizona.
