The Oakland Public Library - Asian Branch offers general library services and resources in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Filipino, Cambodian and Thai for adults and children. They provide an English book collection with emphasis on Asian subjects and the Asian American experience. Publications include the Friends of Asian Library newsletter. Hours: Monday and Tuesday, 12:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; Friday, 12:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. B,V.
