The mission of the Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach (APILO) is to provide free and sliding scale legal services in the areas of domestic violence/family law, immigration and elder law (wills and trusts). Fundraising events include a lu'au with Sam Choy, golf tournament in September of each year and a National Asian American Trivia Contest each March. B,D,V.

A Nikkei Family Legacy Project

REEL NIKKEI STORIES is a project of the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC) designed to teach young Nikkei about Japanese American history by empowering them with the confidence, the training and the tools to interview, permanently document and share the untold stories of their Nisei relatives. REEL NIKKEI STORIES offers training toolkits, workshops and a website to assist individuals interested in collecting their families’ oral histories.
