The Sacramento Rebels Youth Basketball nonprofit organization has been in existence since 1983, providing middle and high school Asian/Pacific Islander youth a means of playing basketball in a tournament atmosphere throughout the State of California. The program begins at the end of February and continues through Memorial Day weekend and sometimes longer depending on the team. D,V.

A Nikkei Family Legacy Project

REEL NIKKEI STORIES is a project of the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC) designed to teach young Nikkei about Japanese American history by empowering them with the confidence, the training and the tools to interview, permanently document and share the untold stories of their Nisei relatives. REEL NIKKEI STORIES offers training toolkits, workshops and a website to assist individuals interested in collecting their families’ oral histories.
