The Tigers Youth Club is a non-profit organization which provides youth in the Southern California community the opportunity to compete in organized sports. The sports program promotes sportsmanship, development of good character, self confidence, as well as social and athletic skills. The Tigers Youth Club encourages the development of young adults in the community while providing scholarships to help further their education. D,V.
REEL NIKKEI STORIES A Nikkei Family Legacy Project
REEL NIKKEI STORIES is a project of the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC) designed to teach young Nikkei about Japanese American history by empowering them with the confidence, the training and the tools to interview, permanently document and share the untold stories of their Nisei relatives. REEL NIKKEI STORIES offers training toolkits, workshops and a website to assist individuals interested in collecting their families’ oral histories.
