Address 231 East Third Street, G104, Los Angeles, CA, 90013 Nikkei for Civil Rights and Redress (NCRR), formerly the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Coalition for Redress/Reparations, was founded in 1980. NCRR is a nonprofit civil rights group that was instrumental in obtaining redress and reparations for Japanese Americans incarcerated during World War II. NCRR's mission includes educating the public to prevent the occurrence of future U.S. concentration camps, and it has supported many other groups in their struggles against injustice, racism and racial profiling.
