The Japanese American Club of Rossmoor formed as a network of friends in the spirit of Tonarigumi. Gatherings begin with exercise using therabands and light weights and cooling down with Tai Chi. After a short coffee break, the group sings favorite old American and Japanese songs, followed by a program hour of hearing interesting speakers or enjoying guided group discussions. A delicious and nutritious lunch is served for a donation of $2.00. B.
