REEL NIKKEI STORIES
A Nikkei Family Legacy Project

REEL NIKKEI STORIES is a project of the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC) designed to teach young Nikkei about Japanese American history by empowering them with the confidence, the training and the tools to interview, permanently document and share the untold stories of their Nisei relatives. REEL NIKKEI STORIES offers training toolkits, workshops and a website to assist individuals interested in collecting their families’ oral histories.
Create your family legacy project now and you can enter to win prizes for your REEL NIKKEI STORIES project in the mini-film festival held in June 2009.
For more information visit the REEL NIKKEI STORIES website.
