Address 17 Wilham Street, Salinas, CA, 93901 The Northern California Judo Association, Inc. (Hokka Judo Yudanshakai) is a nonprofit public benefit corporation serving Northern California. As a charter member of the United States Judo Federation (USJF), Hokka Judo Yudanshakai has rank promotional authority to Godan, or 5th degree black belt. All dan ranks issued by Hokka are certified by the USJF, and are eligible for Kodokan certification. USJF rank criteria are among the most strict and USJF rank continues to be held in the highest regard. Hokka Judo Yudanshakai sponsors a variety of Judo activities including promotional tournaments, kata clinics, referee clinics and junior development clinics. Hokka members have excelled in competition at the regional, state and national levels, producing many state and national champions. D.
