Address c/o 1517 Manzanita Avenue, San Leandro, CA, 94579 The Ohara Ikebana School of Northern California aims to perpetuate intrinsic principles of the Ohara School through a Japanese American cultural medium and provides a place for the teachers and the students to exchange cultural ideas, to keep current of the latest development and to be cognizant of new techniques and style trends. The school also sponsors workshops, study and research sessions, and fellowship meetings and participates in various events in the Northern California area, such as the Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival.
